Venus: The odd ball

You know Venus rotates clockwise (if looking at the solar system from the 'north' pole of the sun) while the rest of the planets rotate counter clockwise? How about that? Some say the reason for this is because of its proximity to Earth causes Earth's gravatational forces to effect Venus' rotation. Others say maybe a big asteroid came around and smacked that joint so hard the whole planet just decided to turn the other way!

Interesting facts, but this still isn't reading like a news blog. What's new in astronomy, what are astronomists talking about. I'm pretty sure the rotation of Venus is not "news." Also you need three posts a week.
